Billing & Subscription
SKH is securely billed via Stripe. Organisation owners find everything under Settings → Billing. Members without owner role don't see this section.

Every plan can be billed monthly or yearly (yearly is cheaper).
Note: The table shows the default values. The actual plans and prices for your organisation can be customised by the platform – e.g. for custom agreements.
What's included
Every plan includes:
- Full SKH Standard models in Switzerland: DeepSeek V3, Kimi K2.5 (multimodal), Mistral Medium 2505. No extra token pricing for SKH Standard.
- Included members (seats in your organisation).
- Storage for your knowledge base (in GB).
- Web search with a daily limit at the organisation level.
- MCP servers at no additional cost (you only pay for the servers you operate or license yourself).
- Integrations with OneDrive, Google Drive, SharePoint.
- Activity info on file/page level and BYOK audit under Model Policy.
Optional add-ons:
- Additional members – Per seat at the plan's per-user price.
- Additional storage – Standard 10 GB / 50 GB / 100 GB packages, billed separately.
BYOK providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, …) are billed directly by the provider; SKH does not pass through any token cost.
Viewing the current subscription
- Settings → Billing.
- You see:
- Current plan, billing interval (monthly/yearly), next billing date.
- Current usage: seats used vs included, storage used vs included, web searches today.
- Trial status if you're on a trial.
- Most recent Stripe invoices with PDF download.
Changing the plan
Upgrade / downgrade
- Settings → Billing → Change plan.
- Pick the desired plan and interval.
- Stripe calculates the prorated difference – before confirming you see what will be charged on the next billing date.
- After confirming, your organisation switches immediately to the new plan; limits adjust.
Downgrades that would put you below your current usage (e.g. more members than the target plan includes) are blocked with a warning. Remove excess members first.
Additional members
Use Manage additional users to specify how many seats are needed beyond the plan's allowance.
Additional storage
Use Manage additional storage to pick from the available storage packages (10 GB, 50 GB, 100 GB). You can stack multiple packages.
Payment methods
- Credit card – Add, change or remove directly from the billing page.
- SEPA direct debit – Available in the EU/Switzerland; verified through micro-deposit.
- Invoice payments – Enterprise/Custom contracts only, by agreement.
Invoices & taxes
- Invoice PDFs are in Billing → Invoices. Stripe automatically e-mails the owner address as well.
- VAT/UID can be entered in the billing profile. The UID appears on every invoice.
- Country-specific tax rates – Stripe detects the correct rate from the billing address. Update it if your organisation moves.
Trial
New organisations can be granted a trial period. During the trial all features of the plan are unlocked. Without a stored payment method the organisation flips into read-only mode at trial end until a method is added.
Usage monitoring
In Billing → Usage you'll see:
- Seats – Used vs included.
- Storage – Total knowledge-base usage in GB. A warning appears as you near the limit.
- Web search – Queries per day, with cache hit rate.
- Token usage – Per model, optionally exportable as CSV.
Web search is rate-limited at the organisation level (default: 50/day). When exhausted, members see a notification in chat. The limit resets at midnight.
Common issues
- Card declined – Check expiry date and 3-D Secure verification. Repeated failures lead to subscription cancellation after a few days.
- Unexpected charges – Usually new storage or member purchases. Inspect the subscription detail in Billing.
- Invoices not arriving – Stripe e-mails often land in spam. Whitelist
stripe.com. Owners can always download invoices manually from the billing page. - Cannot change plan – During trial, a payment method must be on file before an upgrade is allowed.
Cancelling the organisation
Owners can cancel via Billing → Manage subscription. The subscription continues until the end of the current period; afterwards the organisation is deactivated (read-only). Data is retained for 30 days during which the organisation can be reactivated. Then it's permanently deleted.
